RESPONSIBILITIES
Budgeting and Execution of Assigned accounts

  • Develop Customer Specific budgets by category for all Contract Pack customers
  • Update Department Head with any issues to achieving assigned customer objectives
  • Accountable for response to inquiries, internal and external
  • Establish priorities and develop work goals to achieve budgeted goals

New Customer

  • Recognize Red Gold’s available capacity & capability and introduce Red Gold to possible co-pack opportunities
  • Follow up on inquiries
  • Prepare P&L as necessary for management review
  • Prepare price quotes
  • Maintain Inquiries through Microsoft Dynamics (CRM)

Identify Opportunities

  • Develop new products through NPI process after discovering anchor customer
  • Maintain records of wins/losses and update senior leadership quarterly on
  • Existing customer scorecard
  • New contract pack opportunities
  • Help Red Gold be a go to name in contract packing for any processed tomato product
  • Stay engaged in food manufacturing industry buzz
  • Develop & maintain contacts

Sales Planning and Administration

  • Work with Demand Planning to load customer forecasts and submit appropriate promotion notices with proper lead time
  • Insure accurate price lists and deal maintenance internally and with the customer
  • Attend internal cross-functional meetings relating to slow moving inventory
  • Work with Deduction Representative to resolve assigned open deductions

Data Intelligence

  • Access internal systems to develop Sales Performance reports utilizing PowerBI for the Retail Department.
  • Utilize internal operating systems as well as external databases such as IRI to analyze and develop useful reporting tools.
  • Highlight opportunities and areas of concern via weekly/monthly reporting
  • Assist Retail Sales Team with forecasting, pack conversions and post-promotional analysis.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year degree in Sales, Marketing, or Related Field
  • Over 5 years of experience in any of the following:
  • Grocery Sales
  • Private Brand and or Branded Sales
  • Export Sales
  • Broker Management
